Love from Sweden

One day prior to my birthday in 2010, they came. We had been in touch via emails so far. I had no idea about who they were until i saw an email from Mr.Tahir in the mailing list, milist, called kids_x. A place to give support within our small Indonesia community in Sweden. Mr Tahir has a special talent in photography. He shared to us his a link to see his awesome picture collections about those two beautiful women whom i picked them up in the airport. I had no meaningful obstacle to recognize Stina Andersson and Lovisa Torstensson in the crowded.

Let me tell you a secret. I adore them from the very beginning for their noble ideas and efforts. That is the real reason why i kept their figure easily in my mind. My honor is given to their brave, passionate and decent attention towards Indonesia’s children. They are young, that is undeniable. They are, actually, strangers from our (Indonesia) point of view. Sweden is just far away from the equator, up north next to the pole. It was even the first trip for Lovisa to step her foot to Indonesia. They are strong and kind hearted women, i would say.

We tried to find out a place where we can share their attention and love. My first choice did not suit their objective well. We looked for several orphanages and finally we were agree to help children with mental retardation in Panti Asih. As you can see in www.godvilja.blogg.se, this place is fulfilled by hundred persons whom need special attention. Unfortunately, during the Merapi mountain eruption they had to be evacuated. This disaster had been started from October 26th. I hope they save and stay healthy whereever they are.

I wish i could contribute and give more. It feels like i help myself when i help them, Lovisa, Stina and the children. Our life is not merely about ourselves. We live together. There must be something we could do for the others. I will not hesitate about this fact anymore.

But hej!! They came to Indonesia and Yogyakarta. This is the second tourism place after Bali. And you can not say that you are already in Yogyakarta until you step your feet in Malioboro street and Borobudur temple, the biggest Budhist temple in the world. Yes, even the most honorable person in the world need to rest and relax themselves. We deserve to breath the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Tack sa mycket, min kompis!!We welcome you back sooner or later, my sisters.
